1. make a conscious effort to = 의식적으로 노력하다

2. get back into my routine = 루틴을 다시 회복하다
I'm trying to get back into my morning routine.
People sometimes lose their rhythm and don’t stick to their routine, but it’s important to get back into it as soon as possible.
3. build on that progress = 그 성과를 이어가다 / 그 진전을 바탕으로 더 발전시키다
I can continue building on that progress today.
finished downloading the data yesterday, and I feel strongly that I can build on that progress today.
4. what's done is done = 이미 엎질러진 물이다.
I regret the mistake, but what's done is done, so I'll focus on improving.
eflecting on yesterday’s meeting, I think I should have said “sure” instead of “I see.” But what’s done is done—I don’t think I need to dwell on minor things.
The past is past: 다 지난 일이다 / 과거는 과거다 (감정적으로 털어내고 앞으로 가자. 용서, 관계 회복 상황에 잘 어울림)
What's done is done: 이미 엎질러진 물이다(후회/변명하지 말고 받아들이자는 느낌)
5. out of habit (without thinking/automatically)= 습관적으로
A: Why did you bring your wallet when you don’t even need it?
B: I don’t know. I guess I just grabbed it out of habit without thinking.
I brought my wallet to the library out of habit, even though I didn’t need it.
6. split the dish (into two plates) = 한 음식을 두 접시로 나누다
Could you split that dish into two plates, please?
Can you split this dish? We’d like to share it.
