01. Luxury: (항상/누구나 누릴 수는 없는) 여유

 

 

시간을 더 주고 싶지만, 그럴 여유가 없다

I wish you had more time to recover, but unfortunately, we don't have that luxury

애들이 있는데 그럴 여유가 없다

We lose that luxury when we have children

그럴 시간의 여유가 없다

We don't have that luxury of time

실수할 여유따윈 없다

I don't have the luxury of maing a mistake

다들 나한테 의지하고 있어 편히 쉴 여유따윈 없다

I don't have the luxury of relaxing becayse everybody's relying on me

 

난 시간적 여유가 있어서 페이스 조절 중

I'm pacing myself.  Unlike, I have the luxury of time

늦잠 잘 수 있는 사치를 누릴 수 있어(여력이 있어) 좋다

It's nice to have the luxury of sleeping in

 

02. We can't afford to~: ~할 여유가 없다

 

기다릴 여유가 없다

We don't have the luxury of waiting = We can't affod to wait

03. have a bandwith for: ~할 여력이 있다

 

다른 프로젝트를 맡을 여력이 있어?

Do you have the bandwith to handle another project?

 

나는 이미 충분히 바빠. 여력이 없어

My plates are already full. I don't have the bandwith

04. slip out: (하면 안 되는 말이) 무심코 튀어나오다/전화 등을 하려고 잠깐 나오다

 

It just slipped out.

하면 안 되는 말인데, 어쩌다보니 툭 튀어 나왔어. 실수로 말해버렷어

원래 말 하면 안되는데, 무심코 말해버렸어

I wasn't supposed to say that. It just slipped out

전화하러 잠깐 나왔어

I just slipped out to call you
